Somewhere along the way, taking care of ourselves started feeling like it's one more thing we're supposed to do perfectly
Constant thinking about upcoming appointments or events, work responsibilities, family needs, and even replaying past situations in our minds are all things that can keep us feeling "on" all the time.
But your mind and body need - and actually enjoy - downtime too. Time where it isn't juggling a million things at once.
Taking care of yourself doesn't always have to be something that looks productive. It doesn't have to be planned out, added to your calendar, or become another thing on your list.
Simple things like sitting outside, listening to music, taking a walk, or yes... even coloring, can all be part of taking care of yourself too.
There's no right answer, nothing to solve, and no pressure. Just colors, creativity, and a few moments that belong to you.
Take as long as you have time for — maybe 10 minutes, maybe 30. Just a little time to slow down and enjoy yourself.
